Vodafone wanted to do something that would bring some proper Christmas cheer to Britain's families, while making gift-giving a little easier. Introducing Elf and Seek, an augmented reality game that encourages people to use their phones to scan locations across the country and find Elves for a chance to win thousands of prizes.

As part of Denstu Creative, I was tasked with designing the cheeky elves that would be hidden around the UK! I created the character designs that were then beautifully 3D modelled by team-mates Graeme Sutherland and Elina Karadzhova. The renders were then handed back to me for touch-ups and to create final designs for DOOH, socials and in-game assets.

The game returned the following year, and the elves had an even bigger impact! They appeared in stores, we turned them into interactive billboards, they hit cinema screens in a Pearl & Dean ad, and Tree Elf even got turned into a cuddly toy to make a cameo in Vodafone's Christmas TV ad!
