Pizza Express

After a brand refresh, Dentsu Creative partnered with Pizza Express to support them in their digital transformation. This meant redesigning Pizza Express Club app to match their stylish new approach. The work covered every design element including type, colour, photography, illustration, motion and copy.

I was tasked with creating an all new suite of illustrations to be used through out the app, and covering all areas of the Pizza Express experience. I used a hand-drawn ink style, that felt natural, crafted, chic and journalistic - reminiscent of a New Yorker cartoon.

The massive library of illustrations has grown beyond the Club app, and has become a staple part of the new Pizza Express brand. They can now be seen across all of Pizza Express' comms, bringing playfulness and personality to each one.
