Daydream Believers: Carers & Darers Playlist

Daydream Believers create free online resources to connect school students with creative industry challenges. Their aim is to build a world where young people are inspired to follow their dreams, learn in ways that make them excited to come to school, and shape their own futures in compassionate and innovative ways. The next evolution of the Daydream Believers' mission was to create actual qualifications that young people could earn.

I worked closely with the Daydream Believers' team to design the 'Carers & Darers' resources in their Creative Innovation Qualification. With content developed by Creative Director Kirsten Murray, I designed the layouts and visuals of 3 new challenges, each with their own unique look and feel. Our aim was to inspire young people to solve real world problems in fun and daring new ways.

Each challenge consisted of a programme of insights and activities that take learners through the creative process. The 3 challenges consisted of 'Make Your Day' where students create a day of celebration or awareness for a cause of their choice; 'Caring Innovators' where we partnered with the NHS to reveal that creative innovation moves beyond art and design and is needed to transform healthcare; and 'Wonder Makers' where students are asked to design a class that makes school a joyful destination.
